Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA)
Founded in 1994, Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) is an organization of people with the common problem of crystal meth addiction. They also have a common solution that helps them to stop using crystal meth and turn their lives around. That solution is the Twelve Steps of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), which was adapted from the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).
The organization uses the Twelve Traditions of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), also adapted from the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), as a guide to operate as an organization. The only requirement for membership in Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) is that each member wants to stop using crystal meth in all forms.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) is not associated with any other organization, including religious, professional, or governmental groups. Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) also does not have views on outside entities or disputes. The main purpose of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) is to help those afflicted with crystal meth addiction to stop using crystal meth in all forms, and to turn the individual Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) members’ lives around.

Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Overview
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) has three main parts which make up the foundation of the Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) program. They are Recovery, Unity, and Service.
Recovery is taking the 12 Steps of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) with a step guide or “sponsor”, in order to heal our damaged spirits, rebuild our lives, and remove the obsession to use crystal meth. Taking the 12 Steps involves reading Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) literature, writing, praying, meditating, making restitution to people we have harmed in our past, doing service work, and attending Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) meetings, among others.
Unity is getting involved with the people, the group, and the fellowship of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA). It means arriving at Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) meetings early and talking to people. Attending the meetings and going out with people from the meetings after the meetings. Attending CMA activities like retreats, conferences, roundups, speaker meetings, sober parties, sober athletic and music events and more. Unity is also participating with other CMA members in activities outside of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), talking to other members in-between meetings, providing support to other members, and more.
Service in Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) begins early in recovery, with new members helping set-up chairs, make coffee, greet other members, and clean up after meetings. As new members get more clean time, they begin taking on service positions with more responsibility. This may include being meeting treasurer, meeting secretary, other meeting level service positions, “sponsoring” or mentoring other new members, and bringing meetings and literature into Hospitals & Institutions where crystal meth addicts can’t get to outside meetings. This type of General Service begins at the meeting level, carries into the local areas, through the “district” level, all the way to national and the international level at CMA General Service Conference Advisory Committee.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Tools
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) uses a variety of tools to help members recover including Abstinence, CMA Meetings, CMA Literature, CMA Sponsor, CMA Steps, CMA Fellowship, CMA Events, and CMA Service among others.
Abstinence: Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) members commit themselves to abstain from using crystal meth in all forms, one day at a time.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Meetings: Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) members attend Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Meetings to learn how the MA program works, to gain strength by hearing other CMA members experience, strength and hope, to find support through the CMA Fellowship, to obtain CMA Literature, to get introduced to the CMA Steps, to find a suitable CMA Sponsor, to find out about CMA Events and to get involved in CMA Service.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Literature: Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) literature includes Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Books, Crystal Clear, Voices of the Fellowship and A Sober Cell; Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Pamphlets; Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) group readings, including Are You A Tweaker? What is CMA, There is Hope, The Online Meeting Toolkit, and more.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Sponsor: A Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Sponsor is a member of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) who has made some progress in the Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) recovery program, has taken or is taking the steps of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), and would like to help another crystal meth addict attempting to attain or maintain sobriety, navigate the Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) steps, learn more about the Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) fellowship and the Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) program.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Fellowship – The Fellowship of Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) is just as important as recovery or service. The fellowship is about being part of the community, which is vital for many of us after being isolated and alone for so long. Fellowship is about connecting with each other, holding each other up, and holding each other accountable.
The fellowship benefits our psychological, spiritual, and bodily health. It brings us a reason for living once again, oftentimes after years of being purposeless. Fellowship helps to boost our self-respect, self-esteem, and confidence, while reducing our anxiety and increasing our level of contentment.
Fellowship includes attending meetings, going out with people after the meetings, attending MA retreats, conferences, roundups, speaker meetings, clean & sober parties, and a variety of clean & sober activities including athletics, music, art and other CMA events.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Events: Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Events include CMA speaker meetings, CMA workshops, CMA retreats, CMA conferences, CMA roundups, clean & sober cruises, clean & sober vacations and other events and festivals with safe, clean & sober groups.
Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) Service: As mentioned above, service in Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) begins early in recovery and includes CMA General Service, CMA H&I Service, Meeting Level Service, District and Region Level Service. Members follow the guidelines outlined by both the CMA General Service Advisory Committee and the CMA Hospitals & Institutions Advisory Committee. There is also an Annual CMA General Service Conference that members attend to get information on CMA service.
