Richard “Sandy B” Beach is one of the most famous and sought after AA speakers of all time. He died one week short of his 50^th AA sober anniversary at a meeting he was due to speak at while reading step one from the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions before his scheduled talk. His talks are remarkable and memorable due to the combination of funniness and depth of content. His most celebrated talk may be his 1976 Drop the Rock talk.
